Sesame Street - goin' for a ride
Early Muppet fav from childhood. Memorable song and fun puppetry (I especially loved the movement of the vehicles). Jim Henson, Frank Oz, and Caroll Spinney. Song by Jeff Moss.

Sesame Street - seahorse
Переглядів 115 тис.17 років тому
One of my favorite scores from the 70's nature films. As for seahorses, I don't know if I could trust a person that didn't like them.
Sesame Street - Mrs. Wilson's garden

Do you like corn? I knew that you did. Classic film from the early years (1969?). The music especially dates it and sounds more like Romper Room than typical Sesame Street, but it's one of the early "people films" that I never forgot.

Came accross a couple more Better Business Bureau PSA's with Abominable & friends, didn't think there were this many made (including the other 2 or 3 not posted that people seem to remember). about the Ritts (puppets): www.tvparty.com/lostny2ritts.html
Sesame Street - linear thinking?

By request another animated short from the 70's with everyone's favorite lines. This was also shown with the yellow "background" changed to green (or visa-versa, I'm not sure which was first).

Another in the series of "junior consumer tips" by the Better Business Bureau that aired frequently in the 70's. Junior Consumer. I think I can speak for all 70's kids when I say I'll never forget the sense of pride I felt in having that distinction bestowed upon my person. I recall, too, looking forward to the day when I could bear the title "senior consumer" with honor and integrity. How I fe...
Sesame Street - I'm in love with you pretty baby

Sung by Joe Raposo in the "20's style" he sometimes used. This version is apparently cut @end but it's the only copy I have. Two rhinos (minus horns) in a cement enclosure and they...uh...I'm filing this under "freaks me out as an adult, too".
Sesame Street - jazzy spies # 10
Переглядів 373 тис.17 років тому
the last in this classic series features the actual race (cars), during which some familiar fans can be spotted in the stands. The spies are nearly killed after they decide to break out a chorus line in the middle of the track. Composer: Denny Zeitlin Vocal: Grace Slick A link to wiki with information on musicians involved: muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Jazz_(song_series)

great animation (late 70's or early 80's I'm guessing) teaching empathy/ecology.

3 balls overcome their uh "patternism" and make a new friend. Swingin Moog soundtrack. I think this is from late 70's.

One of a series from Sesame Street featuring early computer animation. I remember these from the end of my SS watching days and they seemed soooo loooong.

Yes We Cant Have A Ten!
2024 version: "Oh Daddies you both have great surprises!" "C'mon, around here, the cocaine sharks!" "Needles! Look at that!" "How does that feel, Karen?" "Hey look how close they are-what a giant Instagram model!" "I can walk like a meth-head!" "Looks like these people need mirrors." "Hey mom, a panhandler!"
Wow, memories of this, "hanker for a hunka cheese" and the church of latter day saints... The Mormons
Hooo .genial tenia 10 años cuando veía esta serie..lindos recuerdos la davan los días domingo como las 12 ..👏👏👏👏
I just found this, it flooded my memories. Great stuff
That commercial aired on channels 4, 5, 7, 25, 38 and 56! I remember it! What memories of Boston TV I have!
Back in 1975, I loved watching this show. It was raw animal power with a great narrative and the coolest soundtrack. Even though decades have passed, I still look for it from time to time. It fills a void.
I remembwr that song so well. "Milk, milk!"
The special effects are done on a video switcher board. I m sure they don’t use them anymore.
I thought I'd seen them all. I was wrong.
That ostrich design is so good
that's amazing this computer-animated scene is from 1970!
No memory at all of a dolphin show
Hot summer nights at my grandparents house watching this show.
This music and scene take me back deep into my early childhood, well over 50 years ago. Amazing how music can bring in flashback memories.
I LOVE Classic Sesame Street!!! I REMEMBER THIS!!! You said that you probably don't trust people who don't like seahorses - When I was a kid, I WANTED to BE a seahorse, and I was ALWAYS drawing them! This guitar sound-pattern reminds me of the intro to the WONDERFUL "Inside Out" 1970s PBS TV show!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant. Thx for sharing.

I always wondered what was the point of cartoons like these. The i screaming. The growing groaning letter g.Was this to terrify this generation of children? Mission accomplished.
So cool…
New England Aquarium rocks!
You Got to Be a O.G to Remember this. It came on before The Wonderful World of DisneY,....😎👍
This 1st aired on episode 390; Friday April 21st 1972.

Here's a very ugly sight And he isn't very bright He's my broken-down bronco Bruce He never wins races And his teeth have all got braces He's my broken-down bronco Bruce He's always running into lakes Cause he hasn't any brakes He's my broken-down bronco Bruce. C'mon Bruce! He never goes to bed And he lives on whole wheat bread He's my broken-drown bronco Bruce He likes to gallop in the rain Cause he hasn't got a brain He's my broken-down bronco Bruce In his middle, there's a sag And there's no way I can brag Like my broken-down bronco Bruce Yes, my fills my heart with gloom In fact, I rather ride a broom Than my broken-down bronco Bruce Giddy up now! My broken-down bronco Bruce Take me home, Bruce! My broken-down bronco Bruce!

Serial Maximaaaa ❤
This clip is still something of an obsession for me. I've been watching it several times per year for decades. I wish there was information about these animated clips, such as who wrote and recorded the music, etc...
I loved this show back in the 80's...😌You had to be there.
🍼 ¡Mmmmmmmmmm, qué riiiiiiiiiico!🍼
I rather like fresh milk in glass bottles best; plastic bottles, on the other hand, though unbreakable and recyclable, contain lethal petrochemical substances. 🍶
How much love the baby girl giggling of cheer and joy, while drinking her baby bottle filled with milk! 🍼
Whoever has the rights to this song should remaster it and release it on CD.
